Area Scholar Travel Stipends

The Executive Board of the Academy has decided to grant a limited number of fellowships for the 2003 meeting to faculty members from Latin America, a region that is traditionally under-represented in our membership. Therefore, we have the pleasure of offering Latin American business schools a fellowship comprising:

• one free registration (including most meals)
• a stipend of $500 to help defray travel and hotel expenses
• two years of AIB membership

To apply, please send by fax (1-808-956-3261) and email (aib@cba.hawaii.edu) the following items written in English to Dr. Marjorie Lyles, Vice President of Administration by April 7, 2003:

• a letter of nomination signed by the dean or director of the institution
• a completed registration form (write "Area Scholar Application" in payment section)
• one page resume of the nominated faculty member
